2025 Single A American Legion Baseball Information

 SUNWEST 18U LEGION BASEBALL

Single A Legion Team Pay to Play Fee: $400
 

Open to Redmond High School players born in 2006 or later  

Legion - Season consists of approximately 20 League games with an Area Tournament, possible State tournament and possible Regional tournament as outlined below: 

• The Single A Area tournament will be played July 10-11 at The Redmond Rotary Turf field at the David M. Jaqua Sports Complex in Redmond, Oregon. The winning team will move on to play in the state tournament in Eagle Point July 22-27.  

American Legion Baseball has a storied history dating back to  1925. Legion Baseball has taught hundreds of thousands of young  Americans the importance of sportsmanship, good health and  active citizenship. The number of former Legion players who have  gone on to the pros is far too large to chart. More than half of  current major-leaguers played Legion Baseball. So did almost every  working MLB manager, along with several former commissioners.  American Legion Baseball has been, and continues to be, a  stepping stone to manhood for millions of young men who have  gone on to serve their country or community, raise families or  play the sport at the highest level.  

This mirrors much of the SunWest baseball foundational  philosophy that starts in our 9U program and follows our players  throughout their experience.
